Sylvia has over 30 years of business experience, holding senior leadership positions in marketing and communications on both the client and agency sides of the business, before making the transition into executive search. Having hired, managed and mentored many sales, marketing, financial, operations, manufacturing and HR professionals over her career, Sylvia understands the importance of finding the right people and fit for an organization to shape their team and set them up for success.

Prior to joining ExeQfind Group, she was the co- founder and President of Madison MacArthur with offices in Toronto and New York. With her many years in the business, Sylvia has developed strong client relationships with some of North America’s most prominent public and private sector employers. She has an Honours BA in Communications. A recognized leader in the executive search profession, Sylvia was on the Board of Directors of the world’s largest executive search alliance for several years and was also the past President of this organization. In addition, she was named one of the top 100 global executive recruiters by BusinessWeek Magazine.

Sylvia’s experience in working with family-owned businesses has been primarily focused on helping these clients scale their businesses and set them up for future success. She has worked with owners in identifying skills gaps and filling those gaps by bringing new executive talent into these organizations. Successful placements within family-owned businesses include Presidents, VP’s of Sales, Marketing, Operations, IT, Human Resources and Finance.
